Description

Discoloration Defense Serum is a serum that can be combined with other serums and used daily. Clinically proven effect on reducing the visibility of pigmentation. The key ingredients are 1.8% tranexamic acid, 5% niacinamide and 5% HEPES, a cocktail of pigment-producing ingredients that even out skin tone. The serum will reduce pigmentation and even out the skin tone. Recommended to combine with a preventive serum adapted to skin type.

Active Ingredients

  • 3% tranexamic acid

This synthetically derived ingredient minimizes the recurrence of skin discoloration and stubborn brown spots with continued use.

  • 1% Kojic acid

Kojic acid is produced naturally by certain fungi and helps to improve the skin's brightness.

  • 5% Niacinamide

Also known as vitamin B3, this water-soluble vitamin is found naturally in yeast, meat, fish, milk, eggs, green vegetables, beans and cereals. It has been shown to help reduce the incidence of skin discoloration.

  • 5% HEPES

This synthetically derived acid activates natural enzymes in the skin to help break the bonds that bind dead skin cells to the surface for even exfoliation.

How To Use

- Apply 3-5 drops of this discoloration serum to the face twice a day.

- If using in the morning, apply after a SkinCeuticals Vitamin C Serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ Sunscreen.

- Limit sun exposure while using this product.

- Do not use on irritated or damaged skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
